1. Purpose
These rules apply to listings for sale, adoption, lost animals, found animals, services and wanted requests on LEMIO.
2. Accuracy
A listing must describe the actual animal, item, request or service. Use the correct listing type, country and city. Titles, descriptions, price information, ownership status and contact details must not mislead users. Update or archive a listing when it is no longer current.
3. Authority and photographs
Publish a listing only if you are the owner or have permission from the owner or responsible organization. Photographs must depict the subject of the listing and must be yours or lawfully licensed. Do not copy another user’s text or images.
4. Animal welfare and lawful transfers
Listings must comply with applicable animal-welfare, identification, registration, veterinary, movement and trade requirements. LEMIO must not be used to facilitate cruelty, abandonment, unlawful breeding, illegal import or export, or transfer of an animal where the transfer is prohibited.
Do not claim medical condition, breed, pedigree, vaccination, microchip or ownership facts that you cannot reasonably support. LEMIO does not provide veterinary or legal verification.
5. Prohibited listing content
Listings must not contain:
- unlawful animals, items or services;
- scams, advance-fee requests or deceptive payment instructions;
- unrelated advertising, keyword stuffing or repeated duplicates;
- malware, phishing links or contact instructions designed to evade safety controls;
- discriminatory conditions prohibited by law;
- threats, graphic cruelty or content encouraging harm;
- another person’s private address, identification number, financial information or other unnecessary personal data.
6. Lost and found listings
Use enough information to support identification without publishing sensitive ownership evidence that only the genuine owner should know. A finder must not represent themselves as the owner. Urgent welfare concerns should be directed to an appropriate authority, shelter or veterinarian.
7. Services and organizations
Service providers and organizations must describe their legal status and qualifications accurately. Regulated activities may be offered only by persons entitled to provide them. An organization listing must be published by an authorized account.
8. Moderation
LEMIO may request clarification, reduce visibility, archive, suspend or remove a listing that conflicts with these rules or law. Reports should identify the listing and explain the issue. Affected users may request review at info@lemio.ee.
9. Numerical limits
Each listing is counted against the quota of its actual owner: either the individual user or the organization identified as owner. Personal and organization quotas are separate. Only an authorized organization member may publish on its behalf.
The effective quota depends on the owner type, approved verification status and any individual numerical limit set by LEMIO. An unverified volunteer, breeder, organization or shelter receives the ordinary private-user limits. A user cannot obtain a higher quota merely by creating an organization or selecting a particular organization type.
When a quota is full, additional active listings, reactivation and images above the applicable per-listing limit are refused. A later reduction of a quota does not by itself delete existing listings or images.
Paid and manually assigned plans may provide different limits or commercial features for the selected owner profile. Current values are shown in the plan catalogue. Verification does not itself constitute a paid subscription, and expiry of a paid plan returns the owner to the applicable free quota.
